We are proud to announce that Cheffins, one of our longest-standing supporters, is marking their 200th anniversary with an ambitious fundraising challenge through the Cambridge Half Marathon.

The Cheffins Grassroots Endowed Fund, established nearly 20 years ago, has already awarded over £89,000 to local charity and community projects, making a significant impact locally.

Now, as they celebrate this historic milestone, their team is pushing themselves further by aiming to raise £20,000 specifically for young people’s mental health and wellbeing projects.

As we mark this significant milestone in our company’s history, we wanted to do something meaningful that would create a lasting impact in our community. Mental health support for young people has never been more crucial, and we’re proud to be channelling our anniversary celebrations into such a vital cause.

This latest initiative demonstrates Cheffins’ ongoing commitment to supporting our community’s next generation. The raised funds will be distributed through a separate funding round, in addition to their fund’s May application deadline. Further details on how to apply will be shared soon.

Nine members of the Cheffins team will take to the streets of Cambridge on Sunday 9th March, joining thousands of runners in the half marathon.
