French Farm Wind Farm Community Fund
Overview
Grants of up to £4,000 are available for community projects benefitting residents in eligible parishes within 5km of French Farm Wind Farm, Peterborough.

Fund criteria
Grants are available for charitable projects benefiting local communities in the parishes listed below. Eligible projects may be supported if they demonstrably benefit a material proportion of the local community living in “the area of benefit” – within a 5km radius of the wind farm.
The following parishes are eligible for grants from this fund:
- Borough Fen
- Crowland
- Eye
- Fleet
- Gedney Hill
- Holbeach
- Newborough
- Parson Drove
- Sutton St Edmunds
- Thorney
- Whaplode
Applicants must submit a letter of support for their project from their Parish Council.
Examples of funded projects
Golden Link Club received £400 towards the cost of new equipment, entertainment, and meals out for the elderly members of the group.
Crowland PCC received £2,000 to repair five windows on the north side of the church and fit the exterior of these windows with wire mesh.
