Join the team running for a better Cambridgeshire

Run the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 9 March 2025 to fundraise for the thousands of charitable causes that the Foundation supports across the county, ranging from homelessness and mental health, to education and more. The funds raised will help us to continue supporting projects that are improving the quality of life across Cambridgeshire, including tackling the inequalities and disadvantages that our community faces.

The stunning closed road route showcases the very best of our historic city of Cambridge, passing countless landmarks along the 13.1-mile course, running through the University of Cambridge colleges and out to the beautiful village of Grantchester. This fantastic flat course is great for both first timers and experienced runners looking for a PB.

Entry options

We are excited to offer both individual runner places and the opportunity for our business supporters to enter a team for the Cambridge Half Marathon.

Enter as an individual runner

You will receive:

Entry fee: Sign up before 20 August to make use of our early-bird offer and pay a reduced entry fee of £5. After this time, the entry fee will increase to £20.

Minimum fundraising pledge: £250

We kindly ask that at least £100 of your fundraising pledge is raised by 10 January 2025. We reserve the right to revoke your place after this date if we feel that you are unlikely to fundraise for us, in order to ensure that our charity will not be at a loss.

Enter your business team and fundraise for your fund

Enter a charity running team (minimum of 4 people) to fundraise for your own fund, alongside contributing to the Foundation’s continued work.

You will receive:

Entry fee: If you sign up before 20 August, you can make use of our early-bird offer and pay a reduced entry fee of £5 per runner. After this time, the entry fee will increase to £20.

Don’t worry if you don’t have all runners confirmed straight away – get in touch to reserve your team place and confirm the exact runner details later. There are no restrictions on who can run in your team. Invite friends, family and clients – all are very welcome.

Minimum fundraising pledge: We kindly ask for £250 per runner to be donated towards our continued work – this can either be fundraised or paid directly. Anything raised on top of this can be donated to your fund.

If your business does not currently have a fund with the Foundation, you can still take part and fundraise for the Foundation.

How to enter

The 2025 race is likely to be another sell-out event, so secure your place before general entries open in August.

Email events@cambscf.org.uk or call 07355 674045 to register.

Let’s come together to run, raise funds, and make a positive difference in our community!

How to start fundraising

This year, we will be launching a new way to fundraise directly through our website.

If you have secured a place, we’ll be in touch soon to help you set up your fundraising page.

Already have a place at the event?

We welcome those who have a general entry to join our team. If you already have a place in the race and would like to run for us, email events@cambscf.org.uk and we’ll get a free running top sent to you and support you with your fundraising. There’s no minimum sponsorship – just raise as much as you can!
